Based on the theme ‘Back to Nature’ I decided to make four outfits based on the four elements; Water, Fire, Air and Earth.
This being my first big sewing project I wanted to focus on trying new techniques and going through the entire creative process. From concept to sewing to photography and photo editing, I wanted to be involved in every single step.
When I chose the materials and shapes for these outfits I mainly focused on colours, movements and associations I had with these four elements.
For the final pictures I wanted to photograph the outfits in places that mirror the element it’s supposed represent.
